ATTESA is launching three exciting new models from its CITIZEN ATTESA collection equipped with the latest technologies. These new limited-edition models feature recrystallized titanium, a unique material with distinctive crystal patterns developed by CITIZEN.

The designs of these Platinum Shine Collection models use Duratect Platinum to express the gentle glow of the silvery moon shining in the night sky. Recrystallized Titanium is a material created by applying a high-temperature heat treatment followed by a cooling process. This creates unevenness in the composition of the metal, producing unique crystal patterns on the surface. Each crystal pattern is unique to every watch, just like the patterns on minerals found in nature. Creating recrystallized Titanium is a complex process, and a high level of technical expertise is needed to process the material as it expands in response to the high-temperature treatment. 2025 marks the 55th anniversary of the launch of CITIZEN’s world-first titanium watch. These special limited-edition models feature the unique look of recrystallized Titanium on the centre link of the bracelet.

The cases and bracelets of the three new models are made of Super Titanium™*2 treated with Duratect Platinum, creating an attractive bright silver color that contrasts beautifully with the glossy black colour of Duratect DLC*3 on the bezel. The dial features a crystal pattern printed with metallic ink on the dial, and the sophisticated silver colored hands and indices combine with the matching inner ring to produce the image of a luminous full moon.

The CC4076-65A is equipped with CITIZEN’s F950 movement, the ultimate movement for light-powered Eco-Drive satellite wave GPS watches*4. This model is capable of receiving time signals in as little as 3 seconds – the fastest GPS satellite signal reception in the world*5, and the hour and minute hands move rapidly to display the correct time. City codes are printed in sparkling silver on the glossy black sapphire bezel. The AT8284-61A and CB0284-66A models are Eco-Drive Radio Controlled watches*6 equipped with Direct Flight*7 which allows easy adjustment of the time and date in 26 time zones with just a twist of the crown.

• *1 Duratect is CITIZEN’s proprietary surface hardening technology that enhances the surface hardness of metals such as stainless steel and titanium, protecting watch bodies from scratches and damage. This technology offers excellent abrasion quality and maintains the luster of metals for long periods of time. Platinum is a soft precious metal with Vickers hardness of 50-100 HV. CITIZEN’s proprietary surface hardening technology boosts this figure to 1,000-1,200 Hv. This treatment provides superior hardness as well as a bright, almost transparent, silver sheen to produce remarkably beautiful timepieces. (Vickers hardness of stainless steel is approx. 200 Hv).

  GPS satellite-synchronized watches receive date and time signals sent by GPS satellites from space — orbiting 20,000 kilometers above the Earth — bringing ultra-precise timekeeping to wherever you are on the face of the globe.
